Direct Deposit Account Status

Direct Deposit Account Status

When you sign up to use NatPay direct deposit, your NatPay account status can be in one of the following three stages:

New:  If you have not yet completed your NatPay application, or if you have recently completed and sent the application to NatPay, your NatPay account status will show as “New.”

Pending:  NatPay has received your service agreement and established an account for your company.   NatPay will now deposit and withdraw a small amount of money (under $1.00) to your bank account that you entered on the agreement.  When you enter the correct amount, your bank account will be verified within a few minutes, and the status will switch to “Active.”

Active:  Your NatPay account has been set up and your bank account has been verified.  In order to actually turn on the direct deposit, you will need to go to Settings > Payroll Settings > Direct Deposit Settings.

Choose the second radio button “Use NatPay to automatically pay employees by direct deposit” and click Update.  NatPay direct deposit will be used the next time you run a payroll.
